Click the fake cut to see a name-redacted version of my sister's facebook status and the resulting frenzied conversation...you never know what's going to spark a hot debate on Facebook.
I especially like the way my sister chose to bring the debate to a close.

Date: 2011-01-21 03:41 am (UTC)I usually cut all prepared food off at 3 days, but I admit there have been times when I've stretched the rules probably more than I should :P

Date: 2011-01-27 02:38 am (UTC)For the record, my cut off date for prepared foods has always been 1 week as long as it was put directly in the fridge instead of sitting on the counter for hours on end. I've never ever gotten sick from eating it, though I probably wouldn't feed week-old food to children.

Date: 2011-01-27 02:49 am (UTC)I stick to the 3 day rule, but stretch it on occasion, and much like you, it depends on how quickly it went into the fridge too.
