Since I'm a completest when it comes to rewatches, here is my post about the special features on the S8 DVD and BluRay discs.

As usual, these are just synopsis and highlights and little to no additions by me, because I'm burned out and don't have anything else to say. :P

We have:

1. Finding Supernatural: Creating the Found Footage Episode

( Robbie: 'One of the reasons I wanted to work on the show, other than I love Sam and Dean, was these kinds of episodes.' )

2. For the Defense of Mankind: The Tablet Revealed

( This one was all over the place )

3. Angel Warrior: The Story of Castiel

( Dabb: 'Cas is seen by heaven as an agent of chaos.' )

Then there's the Gag Reel, which is, of course, always fun.

All cut scenes were in their respective episode entries in this rewatch - same with commentaries. :)

And DONE!

And so, we come to the end of S8. It actually ended up on up-note in my opinion, but I guess we'll get to that.

( Don't you dare think that there is anything past or present that I would put in front of you. )

And I'm done! There will be a post about the special features on the bluRay/DVDs, because I happen to be at my friends place where she has the BluRay and a nice set-up, and then that's it! Finito! Ende!

Clothes will start updating next week sometime with the goal to have it all done inside of this month.

This episode kind of breaks my heart... but we'll get to that...

Yay! Only one left, and then a brief chat about the special features, and then I'm done! Woo!

For those of you in NA and wherever else is applies - don't forget to set your clocks forward tonight! It's stupid spring-ahead time, where we all lose an house of sleep because of some stupid reason. :P

Back to rewatches! Just three more to go! I feel like I'm dragging myself to this finish line, but at least I'm still moving. I'm going to have to think of a quicker way to do this next year - less words or something. (I just realized that Sam and I are one in these last few episodes...dragging ourselves to the finish line. :P)

Anyway, we rejoin the main plot!

( I remember, thinking um... I could never go on a quest like that, because, I'm not clean. )

Yay! Hopefully I'll be able to do another one on the weekend. In the meantime, let me now if you have any thoughts...

Back to rewatches... we come to the last MOTW before the plot-push to the season finale climax.

So much for being speedier with these rewatches during hiatus. I'm not sure where the hell my time goes, but it's certainly not towards anything productive.

Anyway, to the episode...

( Come on, man, don't quote me to me )

And done! I'm not even going to make a promise about when the next one is going to be, because who knows... but, I've only got three more left to do! Yay! I can't believe that my original goal was to have them all done by the end of November. How the heck did I manage that in previous years?

Back to rewatches! And back to the main plot...

( I'm not a good fit, Dean. Not with the vampires, and for sure not with the humans. I don't belong. After awhile that starts to weigh on you. )

Now that Supernatural is on hiatus for a couple weeks, I'll hopefully get these done a little faster - though, I know I said that back in December too.

I haven't done one of these for over a week and I apologize. But it's time for Castiel to return us to the plot, so let's get started...

This one, I remember as being QUITE a stand-alone MOTW, so hopefully this is a short one.

Now we get to the plot of the back-half of the season. It's time for the Trial-arc to kick in. Surprisingly, just for a 9 episode arc.

Okay, I didn't write enough the other day to justify not spending the evening on rewatches, so as punishment, I'm doing a rewatch...over the course of a three days though, because I'm too busy to do one in one sitting. Things should ease up a bit after the 28th, so hopefully more will get done then.

In other news: Jared and Gen have had their second kid! Another boy! I'm eagerly awaiting hearing the name, because that's my favourite part of new baby news.

Anyway, we return to Supernatural S8....

( Oh my god, these guys are psychopaths. )

COMMENTARY:

Wow, Christmas takes up a lot of time and it's not even Christmas yet... anyway, here we go with another episode...

And I'm back to rewatches! I'm going to try to do one of these today, even though I'm SUPER tired. I'll try to do another on Tuesday or Wednesday if I can, and then there will probably be an absolute flood of them next week and the week after. Since I want to get as much as I can done during my Christmas break (which is really only a break from one of my jobs).

Anyway, after the heaviness of the last few episodes, it'll be nice to have a fun one... and who's more fun than Charlie!

( I'm the one that saves damsels in distress around here! )

In other news: One of my jobs is as a cat-sitter and one of the cats I'm looking after this Christmas happens to live in a house that was used on SPN once. Fun! Only the exterior was used, but still, pretty neat!

And we're finally done with the storyline I didn't like! Yay! :D

We're finally coming to the end of the OC!Sam storyline, so in that respect, I'm pretty happy - but we still need to get there...

Yay! I might try to do another one of these tomorrow, we'll see... if not tomorrow, then on Wednesday.

Finally we get to the episode where I rant about Sam's storyline - this is your warning.

( Fred's got juice. I mean an average psycho-kinetic can move things with his mind, but a guy like Fred, you get him worked up enough, he can reshape reality. )

Just two more episodes and we'll finally be done with the Amelia storyline and I will be much less complainy, I promise. :P
