VanCon 2012: Point Form Sunday

Okay, I'm finally home (I feel like crap though...I need sleep.)...but I'm going to have a little rest and then start typing up my long reports. In the meantime though, here is point form Sunday:

Breakfast
-Jared is an adorable second grader.
-It is hilarious to watch Jensen be completely baffled by the things that come out of Jared's mouth (or affectionately exasperated by the things Jared does)...even after 8 years.

J2 Panel
-Jensen was really relaxed this year and hilarious.
-Jared accidentally called Jensen Dean....
-Jensen is a good auctioneer...but the audience really made him laugh when Jared announced that if it got up to $8,000 that Jensen would be included. Jared did end up making $8,000 to go to charity (I didn't actually catch the name of it, but it sounds like it's for veterans of the current US wars.)

Autographs - got Jared to show me his bracelet. Jensen, as usual, was just a smile and a thank you (but that's good enough for me!)

Richard Panel
-Richard is really such a good people-person...he's so amazing at working a crowd. 
-It was also a lesson in: Why you do not leave the Con just because J2 are finished...because Richard was joined by both Jensen AND Jared part way through his panel. It was amazing to see the boys in a much more relaxed panel, and a joking-around-with-Richard mood. ...apparently Richard's moustache turns Jared into a sexual predator. :P 

Much more detail coming...but first, a bit of food and a rest.

I gotta say, Jensen & Jared joining in on Richard's panel might be the highlight (among many) of the entire weekend. What a cool thing to do! I was ecstatic that we got more time with them and that I could take more pictures. The people who left early (not counting those on the cruise) really missed out on a magic moment.

It really was. It was just so much more relaxed and casual...not that they weren't before, but you know what I mean! I actually didn't take out my camera, so I'm looking forward to seeing your pics!

I totally agree, Jensen seemed extremely relaxed today and very much at ease. He did engage more with autographs though. There was a story behind what I had him sign, and he listened intently, he commented, and he seemed touched, so yea, I thought he was more engaging evens with autos. And totally agree with Raloria, the Js making an appearance in Richard's panel after they completed their autos was definitely a highlight.

And Jared called Jensen Dean at least 3 times. One time he caught, the others he did not. I thought that was so cute, especially when neither of them really realized it. It makes me wonder if that is not the first time that has happened.

Haha, I noticed Jared calling Jensen Dean at least one of those other times too - though I'm sure I missed others too. :P They really must do it all the time and not notice.

My reports??? I guess now I'm going to have to write up a report now aren't I? LOL

The Js must call each Dean and Sam a lot, and not know it. I know my brothers mix each others names up all the time. So when Jensen and Jared are calling each other Dean and Sam all the time during work, it would totally make sense that they would accidentally do it outside of the studio as well.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience even if you are so tired. I wish I could have been there but it is to far away from me. So I am really grateful that I can experience it through your report.
And I hope for metallidean-grl´s too. :))))))

I hope that there will be a video of this magic moment because I love Richard! And I love these three together even more.

I hope so too. I didn't have my camera out for Richard's panel (because he walks around the audience, you can't really get pictures of him, so I don't bother trying.)...but I saw plenty of other people with their cameras out as soon as Jensen joined - so hopefully one of them was recording. *fingers crossed*

I'm just sorry it's taking me so long to get reports up this year! But hopefully when you read the reports, you'll understand why. :P
