Supernatural Pillow!

It's Arts and Crafts time!  I have finished making my first Supernatural pillow! I designed the crochet pattern myself. (It still needs a few tweaks, but it's just nitpicky stuff, because I think the pillow looks pretty damn good the way it is.)

I don't have a working camera at the moment, so you'll have to settle for cellphone pics...but check it out:

It measures 13"x13" (and I didn't even do that on purpose.)


On an only slightly unrelated note. I think my plant named Dean is actually both Dean AND Sam...judging by the two distinct stems:

I think I will just rename him/them to Winchester. I desperately need to get Winchester a new pot. (As you can see, the starter pot he is currently in is broken and held together by packing tape).

Sure. I gotta make some corrections to it first. I've made them to my hard copy, but not my digital copy. I'll try to do that either tonight or tomorrow, and then I'll email it to you.

Good idea. I'll take a wander to some plant stores one of these days and see what I can find. I'm worried about separating them too, since I was so certain when they/it was little that it was only one plant - I think they're roots might be too intertwined.

I don't know enough about knitting patterns to say...I made the crochet pattern myself, so I guess if you know how to make knitting patterns, then you could do the same!

Yeah...I'm thinking of looking into it. I love making them, and it'd be extra money that I could put towards stuff like Supernatural conventions ;)

I bought a new plant for my Winchesters yesterday! I haven't repotted them yet, but I have a feeling they're going to love it. They've grown very fast and strong in the little pot.

It's still available. I've been sending it through email - so you'll have to provide me with an email address, if you have one that you don't mind sharing. I can always delete the comment immediately after I get the address, if you don't want the email address online for long.

I'd love to get a copy of this pattern too! You should put it up as a download on ravelry.com. You could do it as a free download or charge. I just checked, and there aren't already any patterns that resemble this. It's really well done!
I have (the beginnings of) a crochet business, The Stitchhikers, and have been working on creating some patterns of my own. It can be tricky! LOL!

Yeah, I have a ravelry account that I barely use - so I could do that. I've been thinking of it more and more, since sending out the pattern individually is a little bit annoying.

At the time though, I didn't really want to give the pattern away for free (or well, at least not free on a searchable platform like ravelry), because I was thinking maybe I'd start an etsy store or something and I didn't want someone else using my design to make money when *I* could be making money... but, I obviously haven't done that yet, so maybe I should just make the pattern available more easily.

The pattern is just a grid pattern. I'll send it to you through facebook... It'll come from my personal FB account, so will be under a different name (my real name), just in case you get any strange messages with attachments and are confused...
