Mycroft and the Fall

...but I like the idea of Mycroft not knowing that Sherlock is alive. I like the idea that in this version, only Molly (and the homeless network) know.
Of course, in order to keep 221B, someone needs to pay Sherlock's half of the rent...or all the rent, if John doesn't return...and that sort of lends more to a Mycroft-arrangement. I suppose there's a really sadistic part of me that wants Mycroft to think that his brother is dead.
In other news: I'm loving all the speculation out there about how Sherlock pulled it off.

Date: 2012-01-18 11:32 pm (UTC)I agree, and it works, because this group of characters has a different group of dynamics than ACD or even the movie version. Besides, Mycroft is at least partially responsible for Sherlock's situation, and don't want him knowing his brother faked it.
