Things like THIS make me depressed because they are true.

Which is why I really want my friend to come with me to VanCon this year, so that she can hopefully ask one non-vapid question...even if no one knows how to answer it. (My friend is hella smart, folks, and ponders things like constructions of masculinity.) (Do people say "hella" anymore, or was that an early 2000s thing that only I still do?)

In other related news - and because I had a great time at last year's con - I broke down and just went ahead and bought a silver ticket and even some photo-ops. Because I am crazy like that. 

Now I just need to figure out how to make more money...while still quitting my good-paying job (because it may be good-paying, but I'd gladly sacrifice that money not to have my soul sucked out of me. I'm sure Sam and Dean would agree that soul-sucking should be avoided at all costs.)

Anyway, yeah, the game might be crooked, but it's the only game in town, so you might as well smile while you play...

I am Row L, Seat 25, which is right in the middle along the aisle! I'll be super glad if people aren't there so we'll have a better view ;)

lol I am with you on the crowd bit with Comic Con but ugh as far as I can tell, it's only that and the Paley conference where you can meet the writers. Perhaps a stalking session is in order? ;) jk jk

Excellent point about the article, and based on everything you wrote about your experiences last year, I am still so. freaking. excited.!!! I was going to ask, which photo ops did you buy this time? I'm guessing Jared again for sure, but who else? :D I kind of want to take one with Misha because he's so hilarious and adorable. I might be too nervous around Jared and Jensen.... >_>

Cool, I'm row J, seat 37...so, a couple of rows closer, but over to the side, so it probably works out to be about the same :P Last year there were a bunch of empty seats though, so people moved around within their sections (I was never ballsy enough to try to move into the empty gold seats).

Haha, I think only with Supernatural would the writers have to worry about fans stalking them :P

Last year I didn't actually have photo-ops, so this will be the VERY FIRST time that I experience them! I bought a J2 photo-op (Two for the price of one and three-quarters!) and a Misha photo-op.

I would have gotten a solo Jared picture...because...well...I'm sure you remember my reaction to getting just my Jared autograph :P But then I figured that Jensen is quite handsome and awesome as well, so I might as well get them both, and I might as well save money where I can and just buy the J2 instead of them individually.

So, now I have several months to freak out about what to wear and to get nervous about the inevitably dorky smile I'll be sporting in the picture ;)

Ohhh okay, I think I had hallucinated that you put a "warm arm" around Jared (or the other way around) but I just went back and looked to see that you said you would have done it if you could have! XD (Plus I thought I remembered a post of yours where you showed us a corner of your room with the pic but it was the autographed one, so nevermind!)

Well I can't think of any reason why a pic with both boys would be a bad thing! XD Maybe you'll all have dorky smiles and it will be the most hilariously awesome pic ever!

But yes, I plan to put an arm around both boys at once! And they can just look handsome, and I'll be an unashamed dork....and really, who could blame me? ;)
