hells_half_acreAccording to the latest news....CW is postponing the mid-season premiere of Supernatural so that they can play Vampire Diaries and Nikita on Friday instead.

I mean do you think they aired TVD and then noticed the numbers they had for that show and thought that they had to somehow save the rating? Or they decided that before when they suddenly noticed what they are going against in that time slot? [And I honestly don't know why you should know that and why I am asking that to you :) ]

Date: 2011-01-28 04:25 pm (UTC)Now the rumour is that it was Smallville's fault for the delay (a shooting plot they - suddenly - found in poor taste), I'm not sure if that's true or not, but even if it is...why delay Supernatural too and give us stupid excuses?
I mean, regardless of this decision, the network still advertises their T&A shows (TVD, Gossip Girl) way more than it advertises Supernatural...devil's advocate: could be a budgeting issue, with Supernatural using it's advertising budget on higher production values, but again, bitter-me really doesn't think that is the case. If they can't sell sex, they don't know how to sell something.
