I really want to go to the SFCon...

I hate my job and I'm all depressed...and man, but I really want to go to the San Francisco Supernatural Con in January...there are still tickets, and and...Genevieve is going to be there. Not officially of course, but she's going to be hanging around...and I love Genevieve. I kind of want to see her...

But I can't afford it, because my job sucks. My whole life is ridiculous. I'm all depressed.

Also, I hate traveling in the States, and I've successfully avoided US airports since 2001...and I can't afford it anyway. Still, I really wish I could go.

Um...a note to my newest friend on LJ: Uh, I'm not usually this depressed. Just so you know. I'm just having a bad day.

Aww, no worries, I know how it can be. :( I'm unemployed right now so being depressed is a common feeling these days. ^^; Anyway, sorry you can't go to the SF con. :( There's always the Vancouver con again next year, I guess? But yeah, that's a long time from now... And I'm with you on travelling in the States. I mean, I do it, but I always feel a little uncomfortable in airports down there.

Anyway, hope you feel better later! Here, have a chibi!Sam and Dean to cheer you up. :)

Awww, thanks! Those guys are cute...and so are the guys in your icon. It'll be cool to have someone in the DS fandom on my flist :)

And yes, I'm just going to save my money and hopefully there will be someone selling a last minute ticket to VanCon this summer.

Sorry for the lack of replying; Christmas/family craziness and all... anyway, thanks! I'm glad you liked them. I drew them summer 2009, largely so I could make a t-shirt for VanCon with the drawing on it...

And yay DS fandom; I'm always excited to meet new fans, even if you're not really in the fandom anymore. It's such an awesome and talented fandom...

Hopefully. :) I imagine there will be general audience tickets available until the end, like the last couple of years, and they're quite affordable. Not the same as the silver/gold ones I guess, but enough for me... view from the back sucks, though, admittedly.

I agree with you there, but me here in Oregon its actually better to drive to Vancouver/Canada than to San Francisco for a convention because here-Vancouver is 5 hours and here-San Fransico is ten+ hours

I know! This is my problem too! I actually lost all will-power the other day and bought my silver-ticket for VanCon and some photo-ops. Spent money I didn't have, but goddamn it, I want to go and I was getting too nervous about not being able to find last minute deals...which is silly, because there are ALWAYS last minute deals. :P

Oh you are so evil. I want to go that Con so bad, but no job= no money for conventions. Plus I have no one to con with this time XD

Yeah, that's pretty much what happened to me. All my friends were going and then I discovered that the government owes me money...so, yeah...(we'll just ignore the fact that when I do my income tax I'll probably have to give that money back :P)
