Wonderings about 5x21...

I wonder what the significance is to the fact that Bobby didn't seem able to touch the Horseman rings. In that final scene between Dean and him, he reached for them - got about 4 or 6 inches away, then his hand seemed to shake a little - then he made a noise like he was deciding not to touch them, but I have to wonder if maybe he just COULDN'T.

Meanwhile, there's Dean whose been carrying them around in his jacket pocket and doing magic tricks with them on the picnic table...

Is this yet another thing that's special about Sam and Dean? Only the vessels can touch the rings? Or is it something that's special about Bobby?

Man, I can't wait until next week...

little tidbits paying off is what makes it worthwhile. also, it is awesome. little tidbits not paying off is lousy writing of the sort that inexplicably makes you feel betrayed.
