It's Sammy Sam's birthday today!

May 2nd

1973 - John Winchester proposes to Mary Campbell...and then Mary makes a deal with a Yellow-Eyed demon to save John's life.

~April/May 1978 - The angel Anna attempts to kill Mary. Two strangers from the future save her, and then claim to be her sons. She then gets her memories erased.

1983 - Sam Winchester is born! And he is ADORABLE!

2006 - Having just successfully saved his brother from heart failure, Sam is dragged to Missouri (the state) to deal with a racist killer truck.

2007 - Sam is resurrected from the dead...and he is still ADORABLE! Dean even hugs him. Sadly, Dean sold his soul to bring him back, and Sam isn't very happy about that.

2008 - Dean is torn apart by Hell Hounds while Sam watches helplessly. As far as birthday's go, I'm wiling to bet it's Sam's worst.

2009 - Sam tries to keep Jimmy Novak safe after Castiel gets dragged out of his vessel. Jimmy gives Sam the slip while Sam is feeding his demon-blood addiction...it's really all downhill from there.

2010 - ....?? (whatever happens, it's gotta be better than 2008...right?)

LOL. The Winchesters really have crappy birthdays! I didn't know that they got to know Cassie around Sam's birthday. Sounds cool. :)

I was going to say you should do Dean's Birthday... but the fact it just kind of slips by is kind of sad. I mean it's good in the sense that no one is mauled to death in front of him on his birthday. But kind of vaguely sad in the sense that it doesn't seem to celebrate DEAN (not that Sam's birthdays are celebratory either...) and with the guy's issues, I kind of want to give him cake and tell him he's awesome. Then for Sam's birthday, just wrap him up in a Snuggie and hug him and keep him safely in the house where nothing bad can happen.

In S4, I kept *waiting* for Sam to do something about Dean's birthday... especially since it's the big 3-0.

Also? I keep staring at that picture of Sam... he's such a BABY FACE!

Yeah, around Dean's birthday this year, I tried to go through the timeline and pull up something definite - but I really don't have much for the end of January...I mean, I could make random guesses, but they'd just be that - guesses. Maybe I'll do that next year.

I was hoping they'd acknowledge Dean's birthday on the big 3-0 too, but alas.

I love this picture of Sam - he's so adorably baby-faced, that he kind of makes me feel a little creepy. lol

I'm doing a Big Bang that's an AU of S4 (no demons, no angels, basically nothing in canon happens post S3's NRFTW) and Sam's the one who hauls Dean out because that's the way my fangirl heart wants it to be. In any case, Sam will totally be celebrating Dean's birthday in my BB because the guy's awesome and he's turning the big 3-0 (even though he's completely emotionally shattered, was half feral and is barely functioning).

Basically the BB is going to be entirely self-indulgent with all the things I wanted to happen in S4 but never did -- Sam saving Dean instead of Cas, Dean being all wrecked, loads of hurt Dean, Dean being loved and petted and lavished with care by those who have taken him in like the abandoned puppy he is, Sam celebrating his birthday just 'cause....

Haha, that was basically the reason I wrote my story "Sam Is..." - I knew the show would never give me that version of events...far too hurt-puppy. ;)

My BB *WILL* have a happy ending. Or at least as happy as it can be... There's some things I won't be able to change due to the nature of my setup, but can assure you that things will be okay. Or near enough to it as Winchesters can get. In other words, it'll be as happy as their lives and circumstances will allow.

Yes, that's one of those cases where if there weren't definite dates of episodes before that one (and after) and I only had the weather to go off of, then I would place it in Feb or March, but the sounding episodes make it so that the episode HAS to occur in late April/early May. So, it's just a really freak weather system ;)
