Becky!

I sat down to watch Brent Butt's new sitcom tonight, and was surprised to see Becky! Or should I say, Emily Perkins, playing Crystal Braywood.

For those of you who don't know (basically, those of you who are not Canadian), Brent Butt is a comedian who had a very successful sitcom up here called Corner Gas - which ran for 5 or 6 seasons and then finished while it was at the top of its game. 

The new series is called Hiccups. So far, it is pretty entertaining. (So is Dan For Mayor, which is Fred Ewanuick's (also from Corner Gas) new sitcom.)

I didn't even realize that Becky was played by a Vancouverite.

Anyway, I will stop talking about Canadian sitcoms now...even though they are hilarious.
