Rec: Vid - Sam Winchester - Once

I'm not sure I ever recced this vid on my personal journal, but I should have. It was made midway through S4, and I think it is my favorite Sam vid of all time. The song choice is brilliant and heartbreaking, and the editing is really well done. When it comes to vids, I see so many character studies of Dean - and very few of Sam. Perhaps people find Dean is easier for people to sympathize with, or easier to understand. In any case, it's always really refreshing when I come across someone who, I think, really gets Sam.

What's funny is that I thought it was just going along alright till I realized I teared up a bit. Simple, but makes the right point.

And I'm glad Sammy got some good vid love - so often his issues are overshadowed by Deans. I love em both, but Sammy's a good guy - deserves some of the spotlight.

I agree! Poor Sam. He's got just as many troubles, he just doesn't cry as much ;P
