Remembrance Day Comment-Fic-Meme!

Up here in Canadaland, Nov. 11 is Remembrance Day - which means I don't have to work! So, in honour of all those who fought for my country in wars and whatnot, I'm going to spend the day writing fanfiction.

And you, dear flist, are going to give me prompts!

WHAT TO DO: Leave me a prompt in comments! I will write a little drabble to fulfil it.

RULES:
1. I only write Gen.
2. I don't watch much TV, so if you suggest crossovers, I might not have the knowledge to do it.
3. For those of you who friended me based on my Harry Potter/Supernatural crossover. You CAN prompt me to write with the Harry Potter characters; HOWEVER, if it is already a scene that I'm working on for the sequel, I may refuse the request, because I don't want to spoil the surprise...or I may still write it, but not set it in the Damned Demented Demon 'verse.
4. You can prompt until the end of Nov. 11th (in whatever time zone you are in.)

PS: I'll feel really pathetic if nobody prompts. I've been jazzing myself up to do this for a whole week.

Remake Horror Double-Bill

"I didn't know they still had theaters like this," Sam said, as they queued up for tickets at the old second-run movie theater - it used to be an actual theater - with a stage for performances, but had long since been turned into a movie house.

"Dude, two movies for $7!" Dean replied, "I wish they had more of these. By the way, you're paying - punishment for seeing the Raiders movie without me."

"You were in hell!"

"Excuses, excuses..."

Sam got his revenge when the cute blond ticket-girl told them that she hoped they enjoyed their 'date night'...the look on Dean's face...

They sat towards the back, individual buckets of popcorn on their laps. As soon as he sat down, Dean slouched low in his seat, and let his head roll closer to Sam. 'Oh,' Sam thought, 'so it's going to be that type of movie-going experience.' Hiding a sigh, Sam slouched low too, his knees pressing against the chair in front of him.

The lights went down and the projector started up behind them, and Dean's low whisper started almost immediately.

"Dude, that Clay guy looks like an idiot,"

"No he doesn't, shut-up."

"Bet he dies first,"

"How many horror movies you seen? he's the protagonist, he'll live the longest."

"Whatever, where's Freddy?"

"It's Jason. Freddy's in Nightmare on Elm Street."

"Whatever."

"Man, that guy is built."

"Something you want to tell me Sammy?"

"Shut-up."

For the second movie, which was also a remake, but neither of them had ever seen the original, they needed to put on 3D glasses.

"How do I look?"

"Like a dork."

"Yeah, well you do too."

"My ass is asleep."

"Too much information man, now watch the goddamn movie."

"The killer is totally that dude."

"How can you tell?"

"It's my job to know these things - your's too."

"Dean, if he's the killer than it's not our job at all."

"Yeah, but we gotta be able to tell the difference."

"It's a movie, Dean. Can't we just watch the movie."

"This dude's way better looking than the guy in the other movie."

"Something you want to tell me, Dean?"

"Shut-up."

...

"Sam? Are your eyes closed?"

"...no."

"Heh...this movie too scary for you Sammy? You want me to hold your hand?"

"Shut-up. It's the...it's the 3D, I just...it's disconcerting."

"'Disconcerting' is just a fancy word for 'scary', eh college-boy?"

"I'm not scared. I just don't like things flying at my face..."

"Things fly at your face all the time"

"Yeah, but I can dodge them! I'm not confined to a chair and the things don't follow me when I move my head, and I know it's not real, but I can't exactly turn off my instincts, I don't see how people can-"

"Ok, ok...why don't you take the 3D glasses off?"

"Because then the movie would be all blurry."

"...uh, Sam? You'd still see more of the movie than with your eyes closed."

"..."

*snigger*

"shut-up."

"I can still hold your hand if you want."

"I said shut-up"

"You going to eat the rest of your popcorn?"

"No, you can have it."

"Thanks Sam"

Awesome! They are so making fun of both movies! :)

LOL Sam can be so silly sometimes, thinking do laterally. This exchange just wants me to ruffle both their hair.

I've love to go to the movies with Dean. I've always had great fun going to crap movies with people who don't mind sitting low in the seats and whispering back and forth...not that I'm saying JA and JPs movies were crap (I've never seen them) - only that Dean and Sam probably wouldn't be too impressed by most horror movies ;)

I'm a talker during movies... and most people want to deck me. Especially in theaters. So yeah... I'd totally slide down too and whisper back and forth. Usually my whispers are "what the hell's going on? Why is this person even HERE?"

And, no, I don't imagine the boys being impressed by most horror movies. Especially Dean. Dean would so mock them.
