Dean's Blood Orange Shirt



This shirt is a very bright orangey-red. It’s got a strip of blue on the inside of the collar. It does up with black buttons. It’s go a nearly invisible breast pocket as well. Some fans, along with Dean's Red Carhartt, refer to this shirt as Dean's "Murder Shirt", but it's mostly because they confuse the two.

Appearances:

In the Hunter Games (10x10), Dean wears this shirt at the end of the episode when he goes to meet with Claire.

In Inside Man (10x17), Dean wears this shirt the morning after his nightmare, until he goes home from his adventures at the local bar.

It might just be my monitor (or my Texan bias), but that looks University of Texas burnt orange to me--which is ironic, considering that Jared's the UT fan and Jensen favors Texas Tech.

Cool! A little slice of home for him then. :)

I called it "Blood Orange" because well... it's a supernatural...and also because a lot of fans online were calling it red. When I do an image search, the oranges that come up are a bit brighter - but that could just be the lighting on SPN too - they tend to make everything look darker on the show. It's why it's so hard for me to tell the greens from the greys and the blues from the blacks!

The shirt does look red in these pictures, so good for you for being able to distinguish this shirt from his red shirt.
