VanCon?

I know I haven't been around much - life is keeping me VERY BUSY in Ontarioland. I haven't had any time to do anything fandom related at all. True to my prediction that I was fooling myself when I claimed I would.

Anyway, is anyone a part of any VanCon groups? On FB or otherwise? Has anyone seen any cheap tickets for sale from people reselling?

I'd like to go to VanCon, but I can't afford Gold, or possibly even Silver.... so, I'm hoping that someone will be selling their cheap-seats ticket for even cheaper at the last minute. But I haven't seen anything yet?

Go to the VanCon group on FB. There is a document there somewhere listing things for sale, or just scroll through the feed. I know there have been several postings of people selling tickets, but if memory serves me correctly, they were all Gold. Not sure, though. I do know that there are still tickets available for the Preferred and General seating, the Con is not sold out. You might want to check out the Creation website. Good luck. Hope to see you there!

Do you know what specifically the FB group is named? I tried to find it the other day and couldn't.

My hope is to get a cheap-seat ticket even cheaper than creation sells them - but if I can't find that, then maybe I'll just buy a Gen Admin ticket or something. I know I'll be way in the back, but I've been Gold enough years that the Con is really more about seeing my friends rather than being close to the actors.

The name is Salute to Supernatural Vancouver Convention 2014. It is listed as a closed group so I'm not sure if you can see it or get it. Give it a try.

Good luck on buying a ticket. It wouldn't be the same without seeing you there.

If you do a search on tumblr for vancon 2015 you get posts with people selling their tickets. There were a couple of copper listed in there as well as gold. I know I saw a couple of copper for sale on my dash yesterday but I can't find the specific entry.

I'm planning on visiting Riverview. Went there briefly last yr on our last day, but it was so creepy being there alone (even w/just mom in the car with me). Have you ever been out there?
