Dean's S9 Blue Plaid


This plaid shirt is similar to Dean’s Stolen Plaid, but different! It’s got a very simple plaid pattern. The shirt itself looks to be flannel. The plaid is primarily broad blue and white, with a thin red strip running through the middle of the white. It does up with silver snaps. The plaid on the pockets runs on the diagonal.

Appearances:

Dean first wears this shirt in Dog Dean Afternoon (9x05), when Sam makes the spell that allows Dean to talk to animals. He wears it until the end of the episode.

In #THINMAN (9x15), Dean wears this shirt at the beginning of the episode when he and Sam are in the bunker.

In King of the Damned (9x21), Dean wears this shirt until just before Crowley calls and he and Sam leave Cas’ HQ to go kill Abaddon.

In Brother’s Keeper (10x23), Dean is wearing this shirt when he wakes up in the motel room. He then changes into a suit before meeting Rudy.

I've been surfing around your master list and I just gotta say, you have an INCREDIBLE eye for spotting detail!!! And thinking of what you must do to check every new shirt against ones worn previously, well, I salute you! The thought of doing all that cross-checking blows my mind!!!

(There's got to be some job out there that could utilize this kind of talent!)

I've still got ~7 more shirts of Dean's to add and ~10 for Sam, and THEN I'll be done. You'll be able to tell because I'll do an official post with my usual pie charts and whatnot. :)

And thanks so much for the kind words! For some reason I find this kind of work... soothing? I don't know... as frustrating as all their blue plaid shirts can be, it's actually kind of fun to go through and figure out what's new and what's old.

I really wish there were some kind of job out there that would utilize this talent! It'd make my life a whole lot easier if someone just stumbled across my blog and was like "let me give you a job!"

I do like this shirt. It looks good on our boy, but he looks so sad. Don't like a sad Dean. ;( I just want to take him in my arms and melt those frown lines away.

That's actually his "annoyed" face, but *shrug* S9 was a pretty sad season for Dean - so not much I can do. It's all about the clothes in my pictures, not so much the faces, though I do try to get them non-blurry or derpy.
