Dean gets a new snazzy coat in S9. It’s tan with black fleece lining. It has breast pockets and silver snaps.

Appearances:

In King of the Damned (9x21), Dean wears this coat for the entire episode.

This coat reminds me of the tan coat Dean wore in the first episode of Season 6. They seem very similar.

Indeed. The major difference is the collar, of course. It would have been interesting if it were the S6 coat, since we haven't seen that coat since Dean left Lisa's house.

It would have been interesting if it were the same coat from S6. I just imagine that Dean left that coat in Lisa's house and she has come upon it, now not knowing whose coat it is, but yet, keeping it around because deep down she feels some sentimental attachment to it.
