Oh man, guys, I am so burnt out on fic writing...

Today's prompt is "two characters meeting who have never met before" - and I mean, the possibilities are endless, especially since I'm someone who routinely writes crossovers.

But, my brain is just dead, you know? As I recall from the last time that I tried to do a ficlet month - I burnt out around the 21st then too. Perhaps I should have learnt my lesson?

Anyway, I also don't have much time left today to write - I'm going to a friends place for dinner and a movie, and drinking.... so, maybe I'll come up with something brilliant there and write it when I get home at a no-doubt late hour this evening? We'll see.

I had no idea what I was gonna write for summergen, until I got trapped at an airport til 6am and sleep dep brought out the inspiration. Brain works when it wants to.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to continue writing ficlets for this month. I obviously took the weekend off, but yeah - a LITTLE bit burnt out. My brain is still working, but it only wants to think of the longer form stories that I've been thinking about or working on.

Yeah, I'm pretty impressed, all things considered. At at least I know my threshold for coming up with new fics every day is around 20 days.
