Writer Problems...
Feb. 26th, 2013 01:24 amUgh, I hate it when I finally get to the scene that is the whole reason I am writing the fic - the scene that I've written in my head 100 times already and that I can't wait to get down on paper - the scene that's taken me 22,000+ words to get to and I FINALLY get to write it..... but it's 1:20am and I've been up since 8am, and I'm so tired, and I have to work tomorrow and I've already been writing for 4 hours...and... and...
...it's just going to have to wait until tomorrow AFTER I work all day at my real job. :(

I kind of treat the fun scene as the reward at the end (or near the end) of the maze that is the rest of the story... sometimes the more work it takes to get to that reward, the more satisfying that reward is. It's like staring at a brownie for three hours before finally letting yourself eat it.
