Sam's S7 Broad Grey Plaid

This very broad grey and blue plaid does up with snaps. It’s got very broad stripes and when Sam wears a jacket, it’s the horizontal stripes that stand out the most.

APPEARANCES:

In Slash Fiction (7x06), Sam is wearing this shirt when he and Dean leave Frank’s house and travel ultimately to Ankeny, Iowa. He wears it until the leviathan doppelgangers are dispatched.

Oh geez I was actually looking for another shirt but what made me laugh is at the Chicago Con last year in October I went and got my [picture taken with Jared and this was the shirt he was wearing. When he came in for the panels he said he had to change because someone threw up on it not sure if he meant a fan or he meant Thomas since he was there though Jensen took full credit for doing the puking.

I just find that really funny ha.

Jared wears Sam's clothes so often, it's hilarious. It's a good thing wardrobe has copies in case of babies or costars puking on him! :)

He does! And I don't remember him ever wearing this shirt on the show so it surprised me because I've grown accustom to Jared wearing Sam's clothes to conventions but guess I was wrong haha

It's also sometimes difficult to spot them at the time, because, of course, he steals them from episodes that are still months away from airing. Usually though, with just a few exceptions, if it's plaid, it's from the show. :P

Sometimes, with shirts like this that only ever show up once - it makes me wonder if maybe wardrobe didn't actually have copies and Jared stole the only one.

You know I wouldn't doubt it. He's worn so many of Sam's clothes over the years I imagine he rarely has to buy any clothes except for the scarfs and beanies he's so fond of wearing.
