Job Idea

I was going through Sherlock 1x03 caps this evening (because I wanted to add even more beautiful cinematography to my rotating desktop wallpaper) and I came up with a job that people should hire me for...

Movies and shows should hire me to write them full length fake newspaper articles, so that they don't have to repeat the same two paragraphs over and over and hope no one notices. Also, it would be like a cool easter-egg for those fans who go through their favourite movie or tv show frame by frame!

Personally, I think that would be a fun job. I could totally write a full page fake article about fake Sherlock Holmes, or you know, whatever horrible death the Winchesters are investigating...or whatever heck else people need me to write. I think it'd be fun.

I was actually thinking of that as I looked at the Sherlock caps, because at one point I thought I saw a headline about an Impala, but it actually said something else...and then I thought "man, you could put little hidden shout-outs to other fandoms!" It would be so much fun.

I would want this job too. At least if they get someone to write something, if not stimulating, then at least interesting enough for the fans who likes to screencap the episodes! :)

Yeah, it would still be fairly innocuous, but at least it wouldn't obviously be a prop when paused... and the person writing it (if they were me) could make sure it didn't conflict with canon.
