Plotty Dreams...

hells_half_acreI have a weird brain... and by "weird", I mean "totally awesome."
I don't think my brain got the memo on how many chemicals to release while I'm sleeping. I've had friends tell me about the trippy dreams they've had on medication/drugs, and my response has always been "isn't that normal?"
Anyway, recently, I've had two very interesting dreams:
1. Supernatural
I dreamt that Dean was in a coma and was also a roaming spirit (like In My Time of Dying), and Sam had to save him. Only at the same time, Sam had been changed into a woman. Now, some of you might be thinking "Ooo, I see that in fics all the time..." Except, in my dream, Sam did not rise to the occasion - instead he spent the entire dream (hours/days/whoknows) in front of the bathroom mirror having a nervous breakdown due to body dysmorphic disorder. It was horrible.
2. Joshua Jackson
Occasionally, my brain likes to really mess me up by playing with the fact that I'm often fully aware I'm dreaming in my dreams. So, last night I had a dream that I was taking the bus to the shopping mall in the middle of a very hot and humid summer. When I was at the shopping mall, I met up with my friend Joshua Jackson...my reaction was to be convinced that this was the third time I had met up with Joshua Jackson in my dreams (Note: I do not know if this is true. I do not remember dreaming about Joshua Jackson previously). But while I was in the dream, I fully believed that this was the third time me and Josh were meeting up. I was fully aware that I was dreaming...yet, I also felt like Joshua really was a good friend of mine, and we met up in dreams on purpose or something. Anyway...yeah, I ended up waking up with this overwhelming feeling of how NICE it was to have caught up with Josh and spend time with him again.
This is just made more bizarre by the fact that I think I've only ever really watched Josh in ONE movie out of his entire career. I mean, yes, I've seen an episode or two of Fringe and Dawson's Creek...and does the Mighty Ducks count? I guess I like to watch him in interviews and I happen to think he's a nice guy...but... weird. Just really weird.

Sometimes I wonder how these people get inside our heads - but then, I guess it's just the nature of the internet these days...you see one promo picture and the next thing you know, you're shopping for dresses with the star of Fringe. ;)
