Well, if you have any interest in any of the comic fandoms, there's that nifty challenge I ran across today. Just full of nifty prompts. Actually, a lot of them could be reworked to fit a different fandom too.
Short of that....hmmmm....I have to admit, I've gotten kind of bored with SPN recently. And I don't mean like "I don't like the show!" just that I kind of feel like I've seen it all, fandom wise? So I don't really have any ideas there.
Hm. Oh! What about Avatar? Did you catch Korra? There was that flash back to grown up Sokka finding a way in the middle of a trial he was judging to work in an ol' war story about that time he totally got combustion man with his trusty boomerang. So what about other times grown!up!Sokka used semi-unrelated conversations as excuses to tell stories about his epic adventures back in the day?
Doesn't it? I'm not really in any of the comic-related fandoms either, (but I did enjoy the hell out of the avengers and I ended up reading a lot of fic just for something to put on the kindle), but the challenge just seems so fun I'm so tempted to dabble.
But in the meantime, how about some Avengers fic! I've been reading some of them, and they are great, and I would like to think of what would happen when Sam and Dean meets Tony Stark. Or Captain America. Or Thor! That would be a riot. LOL
Did you see that spn/avengers crossover where Loki bodyswaps with Dean for nefarious reasons and Dean ends up getting taken captive by the Avengers? And very awkward conversations with Thor (who is sure Dean is his brother, just playing some game) ensue? (Okay, more happened than that, but it cracked me up).
I don´t know if you write RPF but if you do. How about a fic that plays on a convention. With either Jared or Jensen sick but still goes to the con or something hapens to them at the con - maybe a mad fan or something like that. but if you do please, don´t write slash in it. I would love to read a good just friends fic.
I may have something cooking for post-S8...I know that's a long ways away, but at least it's SOMETHING...and it may lead to more ideas in the meantime.
