Firstly: Thank you to those who sent me Valentine LJ gifts yesterday! That was very sweet of you.

Secondly; I need more Supernatural Tumblrs to follow. Right now, I've got all Sherlock all the time. Why has this happened? Because Supernatural Tumblrs rarely meet my criteria...which are:

A)No spoilers.
B)No wank
C)No endless complaining about perceived sexism (This is actually a subgroup of B in my mind...sorry to all those who I just offended, but honestly...unless Dean keeps a woman barefoot, pregnant, and in the kitchen for a whole episode, while Sam rapes a girl and tells her she deserved it... I just don't want to hear about it anymore.)

So, any recommendations?

Maybe I should just keep LJ as my Supernatural place, and Tumblr as my Sherlock place...but, man...I like pretty pictures of Sam and Dean - you'd think it'd be easier to find them. Plus, if my Tumblr is for Sherlock, I should really rename it. Maybe I will call it Jawn.

I haven't really come across spoilers yet, but I tend to only go just after an episode has aired, so it's usually all about this ep. Absolutely gorgeous pics of Dean (and Sam). This girl really loves her JA. Far too much for any sort of wank. Plus she's incredibly funny.

I'd recommend hallucifer and fremples. They're pretty low on the spoilers front and high on the pretty pictures part. The other one was sammycordy but she seems to have stopped now. Or at least, she posts very infrequently.

In fact, I'm just going to stalk this post and see what everyone else comes up with because I'm surprisingly low on SPN tumblrs too.

I have a zero-tolerance policy for spoilers (with the exception of information from conventions) - so if a tumblr posts something once, I immediately unfollow. (The one exception to this is a JP tumblr that posts upcoming episode pics when the CW releases them...it annoys the crap out of me, but damn it, I like pretty pictures of Jared.)

I feel the same way about tumbler. I go there for pretty pictures and I see something that makes me angry (and I don't know how to reply!) or I see a spoiler and run away. But I still know it! I try to avoid it, but I just keep going back...

Well, I'd rec some, but I'm not sure how many I follow meet your criteria, since I'm hardly on Tumblr. :/ I do agree, though, 9091 is an awesome lady.

Though I do agree with #3. Yes, show can be sexist. But constantly complaining about it will not make it go away and won't make anything better. Besides, it's not nearly as bad as some shows can be. Actually, the endless ranting is one reason I don't do too much on there.

Indeed. Sometimes I feel it's as though people are going after their allies rather than their enemies. (This is same thing I feel about Trans-people getting mad at Dan Savage). Because, yes, show can be sexist, but it's leaps and bounds better than a lot of whats out there - and quite frankly, I think it's at least TRYING, which is more than I can say for other programs.

I’m not a 100% sure about spoilers, I try my best to avoid spoilers myself and I can only remember being spoiled once. I think most of them start posting pretty soon after an episode has aired, so I tend to stay clear of tumblr until after I have seen it.

Perhaps you have some good wank-free SPN journals to recommend; they don’t need to be all SPN. I hate wank, it drives me crazy. I’m just here to bask in things of awesome.

I tend to unfollow anyone who posts any sort of wank...with the exception of euclase, who usually only responds to wank about herself or her drawings (I avoid reading those by not paying attention to any text-posts that she does - I just follow for the pretty pictures.)

Oh, haha...sorry, the word "journal" should have tipped me off.

Journals on LJ are actually a little bit hard for me to recommend. As much as I love posting my own episode reviews, I don't like reading other people's very much...so, a lot of my LJ friends are just...well, my friends, and I didn't friend them for Supernatural reasons.

That being said, missyjack is the exception to that rule. Her posts are always wonderful...but I think most everyone is already well aware of that and probably already her friend. If you like pretty pictures, I'd friend raloria.

As far as positive happy people: borgmama1of5 is lovely and I really like mymuseandi... I recently friended sgmajorshipper too and so far that friendship is going swimmingly.

Yeah, I made this post, and then I thought "Wait...who is following me that I'm not following back?!" And so I went through my massive amount of followers (*cough*15 people*cough*) and scanned their tumblr for wank or spoilers - you obviously passed the test!

It's hard on tumblr, because everyone has different usernames, so I don't ever know who I'm friends with here on LJ and who is just a random person. :P
