I only did extra work once (so far), but I loved this video about the "business" of being an extra:

My favourite line is the guy asking for a pen. It's basically the only thing besides yourself that need to bring with you (and clothes), yet a great number of experienced people seem not to. 

While we're on the subject of vids, I'm up to 1:20 in making my video! Yay! I still have to download some eps, but things are ticking along nicely now that I've got my editing software woes taken care of. :)

Haaa, thank you for this. I have never been an Extra - well, not for TV or movie anyway - but that video is all kinds of awesome.
