Concert Report:

Hey Rosetta is still awesome.

Even though, you're scared stiff, you can trust in this, you can trust in this...even though, I thought I was all alone, I was wrong, I am not....

And just a note to all you concert goers out there: If you can't stand me bumping into you, get off the dance floor.

Man, I love this band so much, I don't even think you guys realize.

This is how I feel about people at gigs. Even more annoying though is when people try and protect me at gigs. Just cos I'm shorter than you and skinny doesn't mean I don't want to come home with bruises. I liked being squished at gigs... which is random. Um. YEY for having fun! I don't know Hey Rosetta (apart from that you like them). Do you have an album to share? Or any recomendations?

Yeah, my younger sister is a little slip of a thing, but I never protect her at shows. :P Her boyfriend did at this show, but I don't think she minded.

Epitaph is also one of my absolutely favourite songs by any band...it's also, in it's own way, a little love letter to St. John's, Newfoundland, which is a city that I absolutely fell in love with when I lived there briefly (and discovered Hey Rosetta).

But really, type in Hey Rosetta into youtube, and you are bound to get something awesome.

Brilliant! I shall look them all up. :) I'm guessing they're more popular in Canada maybe? I'd never heard of them before you. And though I'm not totally up on new music like I used to be, I'm still... well, relatively informed. :P

Yes, they are more popular in Canada. They are just starting their rise. When I first heard them in 2005, they were only known in St. John's, Newfoundland...and now they are known across Canada, and when they tour, they mostly tour Canada, the states, and Australia. So, I don't think they've reached Europe yet.

Huh. Well, I have found all their albums and EPs and am going to download them shortly. :P I am currently listening to a song called Hospital Beds... which I only clicked on because I thought it might just be a cover of a song by Cold War Kids. It's not, but that doesn't stop it being good...

Haha, yeah, that's from their first full length album, I believe. As far as I know, they've never recorded any covers. :)
