Good downloads for vidding?

Hey Everybody,

Does anyone know where I can get good quality downloads of Seasons 4-6, preferably logo-less? Likewise, I also need logo-less copies of the episodes so far this season.

Any help would be appreciated.

(I've found torrents for dvd-quality rips of the first three seasons, so I'm good for those thankfully.)

What Raloria said. She put me on to this great site where you can DL bluray copies. A lot of the links are gone, but there are still some entries where the links are good. I will wait for her post and see what she says and then maybe comment further.

Hello again...

I tried searching some of the sites Raloria recommended, but I still can't find a solid link for S4, if you know of any, let me know.

I might just have to use logoed vids and not try to be perfect.

I am downloading S4 bluray vids right now. You need to go to the hd-bb.org website. You will need to register and create a log-in ID, but it is free, so no problem. Once you have logged in, do a search on Supernatural. You will get several pages of listings for links. The links I am using can be found on the second page. Go to the bottom and click next. Go half-way down the page and look for the entry where it says "Supernatural S01-06 720p BluRay nHD x264-NhaNc3" and on the far right it will say "by dalyatala". Click on this link. Scroll down the page and you will come across all the links. They list the seasons in order first by Filesonic DL and then Wupload DL. I use the Filesonic DL's because they do not take as long as the Wupload, but all links are good. I know at least S4 are good because that is the season I am currently downloading. And I just recently finished downloading S3, so I know they are still good as well.

Thanks! It seems to be working. :) Hopefully mkv files work in Windows Movie Maker...that's my next hurdle. I'll have to get one first and test it out.

I sort of feel crazy for trying to teach myself how to vid, but hey...it gives me something (else) to do.

I know Val is able to view the mkv files on her PC. I have a Mac and mkv files are not necessarily user friendly. So I use Handbrake and convert them to mp4 files. So there is that option as well.

Note, I am downloading the last couple of episodes of S4 and the files and I am not able to use Filesonic on those because they say the files are too big, so I have been having to use the Wupload files.

Thanks for telling me about Handbrake. I needed to do the same thing with the mkv files to get them to work in Movie Maker. :) I should be good now. I'll let you know if I run into any other problems though. :)

You're welcome. Hope it all works out for you. Just a heads up. I had problems converting episodes 4.21 and 4.22 to mp4 through Handbrake. I tried another program and again, it stopped mid-way through. So I had to go to the 480 vids instead of the 1280. I hope you have better luck, but just be forewarned on potential problems. The 480 vid downloads link is right below the link for what you are using now. Good luck. I hope you have better luck than I did on those two episodes.
