Bobby's Heavy Tan Shirt



When Dean gets back from Hell, he doesn’t have access to his own wardrobe. He shows up at Bobby’s doorstep in very dirty clothes, but once he convinces Bobby that it’s really him – he has a shower, and changes into this shirt of Bobby’s. It’s Tan, not a usual Dean Winchester colour of choice. It’s a thicker material, with two breast pockets that have a centre pleat in them. It does up with buttons.

APPEARANCES:

Dean puts in on in Lazarus Rising (4x01), after he’s convinced Bobby that he’s not a demon or shifter, and he’s thus gained access to a shower and borrowed clothes. He wears it until he and Bobby track down Sam. He changes out of it after Bobby leaves to call Pamela and Dean tells Sam that he doesn’t remember Hell.

FATE: Returned to Bobby, as we can see in Yellow Fever (4x06) when Bobby is wearing it:

I love how HUGE it is through the shoulders on Dean. It's practically hanging off him. And honestly I personally thought Bobby just handed him any shirt so Dean really didn't have a say.

But wow. Dean looks TINY in Bobby's shirt.

And you're right, the whole style of that shirt is a bit *off* for Dean. No wonder he borrows Sam's stuff.

Dean (Jensen) is really very skinny. And you really notice it here.

I think it's adorable because Dean actually looks a little like a boy wearing his father's clothes.

HE IS!! Well, I wouldn't call him "skinny" as much as slim because honestly, he looks like he's pretty solid. Muscle-wise at least. And it's true... Dean totally looks like a little kid wearing his father's clothes. Also, with him swallowed up by Bobby's shirts and next to Sam, you realize just how much Sam hulked out compared to him.

And for some reason that pic of Sam on the bottom is a ridiculously good picture of him. Normally I'm not a Sam-fan, but THAT PIC is an awesome pic of him. Better than most I've seen.

It's really hard to get a good picture of Sam/Jared...he is just not photogenic. Absolutely gorgeous in real-life, but for some reason it hardly ever comes across in pictures/film (in my opinion). I wasn't a fan of Sam's looks until I met Jared in person and realized he looks completely different in 3D :P

And it is! He just isn't photogenic... Even on film, he's just okay looking. He always stuck me as one of those much-better-looking-in-RL-but-cannot-be-decently-photographed people. His coworker on the other hand.... Holy SHIT is JA photogenic...

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get a bad photo of Jensen...he's like Barny in HIMYM (forgive me if you've never seen the episode I'm referring to). But yeah, Jared has to be seen in person to be appreciated. They need to make statues of him, not photographs. ;)

They need sculptures of both guys... but I'm with you on it being pretty close to impossible to get a bad photo of JA. JP, I hate to say, is the opposite. But JA is pretty dang photogenic... Wasn't he like a model or something before going into acting?

He was a catalog model as a kid, and then I think he did a little bit of modeling when he started acting, but not much...as I understand it, it's not something he particularly enjoyed. :P

That's what I've heard... I think it was just to pay the bills until he got his career started. :P
