You TRY to save money...

After spending a great day with borgmama1of5, sandymg, and metallidean_grl and then meeting up with ratherastory and elsewhere_kels and some other girls that I did not get the LJ handles of. I stopped in at London Drugs to buy my photo paper! Success!

Only, I got home, printed the first two off-centre, but then I figured out the settings! And then...I ran out of ink.

So, yeah. not much I can do at this point. I don't have time to get new ink. I'll just get them to sign the mis-alligned ones, I guess. Or the ones that printed too dark at Staples. Or...or...I'll go to London Drugs and spend $6 a pop to get them printed right. Thus having wasted tons of money in an effort to save money. 

DEEP SIGH. 

I really hope there is a Jared photo-op still available tomorrow morning, because I need a hug, and I'm willing to wait until Sunday to get it if it's from the right person.... 

ETA: Ok, I shouldn't be so negative. I really did have a great day! We went on a mini-location tour and saw "Chicago", Madison's house, Truman High, Rufus's House, Chuck's House, Nick(Lucifer)'s house (Chuck and Nick live on the same street), the Lulu Island Trestle Bridge, and we did a driveby of the studio. ..then capped it off by driving back into Downtown over the Cambie bridge (as seen in the French Mistake).

And then we had a great dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in Gastown...which was delicious.

Also, um, hi! It was so wonderful to meet you tonight, and I hope we get a chance to chat and get to know each other more in depth... so strange to come back to this journal entry after this evening because even though I obviously know I've friended you, I've always been INCREDIBLY lurky and often a bit star struck, and I'm a tad embarrassed about that because you've always seemed quite approachable...

Aaaah, to summarize, so wonderful to officially meet you and I really hope to see more of you and I'm sorry about your prints!

I can't help it, lol! I really, really admire your writing, to say nothing of your amazing powers of research and focus with the If Clothes Could Talk and the Supernatural timeline... My brain would be so sore!

I would definitely be up for a London Drugs run although part of it will just depend on how scheduling tomorrow pans out... I've had a bit of a look at the schedule but not in such a way that I've really mapped the day in my head. Luckily, hugging can happen any time! ;)

I'll definitely find you - and it's so exciting that you and Daphne are only four seats away from each other =D

Well, thank you yet again. My brain gets bored/depressed if I don't do something ridiculous with it. ;)

I have to wait to see what the scheduling is like too - I also want to check out the vendors room before I go spend even more money trying to get my own stuff printed.

I was in the huge one on Granville around 9:30 at night...so, I doubt I saw you, though I may have seen you somewhere else and didn't know...it's a small enough city.

Okay this is woefully late. I've been catching up but in slow motion. Yes ... thank you so very much for being a stupendous tour guide. It was such fun! Was one of the highlights of the weekend for me.
