Hey folks....I'm on tumblr, now, fyi. I'm a bit boring because I don't make pretty pictures.

Um, if anyone wants to recommend tumblrs for me to follow, that'd be nice. So far I follow a 16 year-old who doesn't seem to do anything except reblog SPN stuff again and again and again....I also follow some Sherlock tumblrs that reblog and post somewhat more conservatively.

Because my twitter (which some of you know) is also followed by family, I'm sort of using tumblr to update like I would on Twitter if I didn't have this weird thing about mixing fandom and family. So, for instance, when I go to VanCon, I'm probably much more likely to post things on Tumblr than I am on Twitter...same with updating on the progress of writing (which I did do when I first got twitter, before my family discovered it.) That's basically all to say: Mum, I know you are reading this...my tumblr would be crazy boring for you and you should not bother reading it.

 

Anyway, I'm still new at tumblr, so I don't quite know how everything works...for instance, what's a photo-reply? *shrug*

um, I'm pretty sure a photo-reply lets people reply to a text post with pictures or .gifs. But idk because I've never used it so >.>

Apparently when you go back and "edit" a post, it doesn't let you change that option either...very weird.

A photo-reply is usually used for people to reply with an animated gif, which are quite prevalent on Tumblr. ;)

I follow a lot of photography tumblrs, ones for Vancouver & Washington, and fellow SPN fans, of course. ;) If you visit someone's tumblr and their theme shows you who they follow you can check a bunch out that way. ;)

I'm on tumblr too, and like you, I have no idea what I was doing there LOL

It's basically like a photo blog, I think. I followed a lot of SPN tumblrs, and a couple of Sherlock and Leverage ones. And I tend to reblog a bunch of posts in a row before stopping, just to warn you first, and that I repeatedly post to both tumblr and twitter because I forgot to untick that little box. :)

Haha, the funny thing is that last year another fan mistook me as press, because of how furiously I was writing in my notebook...really, I had just brought the notebook because I like to have something to do with my hands.

Sadly, I'm pretty sure you need press credentials or something to get private interviews...so yeah, it's a good dream.

OK I'm just gonna say this: you should follow whitepajamas. She's not SPN, or Sherlock or anything really, but her life is about the most hilarous brilliant thing ever. Seriously. And also her friend mump. I was going to link you to some thing to illustrate why I love these blogs so much, but my "likes" page will not give me direct link to the post in question, so you'll just have to find out for yourself. I really recommend them both though.
