I saw Nowhere Boy the other day. Today I woke up with In Spite of All The Danger stuck in my head - so, I decided to make all of you suffer with me:

 

 

Actually, it's a good song - it's hardly suffering.

 

Still fairly horribly depressed. Maybe I'll try writing something...I've written some really awesome things while depressed before. I bet if I can get something done, I'll feel better.

 

In the meantime, enjoy the music. 

 

Completely off topic: At one point in Nowhere Boy, John uses the dative case without the corresponding preposition - "My mum gave it me" - confusing, but it made my language-loving heart skip.

I do some of my best stuff depressed.... Like seriously I'll be depressed and I'll write and later when I'm not-depressed (thank you antidepressants and apparently needing to perform serious cardio for one hour every day), I'm always amazed at what I turned out... and accomplishing stuff is always good. :)

That said, I'm sorry you're so bummed out -- I'm in a pretty fantastic mood only because A) I ate something and B) I just got back from said hourlong cardio. If there's anything I can do, let me know.

Well, I'm glad one of us is in a good mood :)

And it's nice when you know what can pull you out of a funk. I think my problem is probably mostly time-of-month and the fact that I fell out of the routine of taking my vitamins, so my brain is probably not as well nourished as usual.

Thankfully, it's a pretty nice day here, so worse comes to worse, I'll just go for a long walk later.

Logically, I know things aren't THAT bad. It's just feeling it that's the problem.

In relation to the... language thing you mentioned (English is not my stong point, despite being English), dropping "to" in sentences like that is something I do a lot. I have a feeling it's a northern England thing, but I'm not 100% sure. Just, y'know, fyi.

Haha, true. I certainly wouldn't write it that way in my university papers. :P
