I am so far behind on what I needed to get done today, but I just took an hour to write this... so, my dedication to June Ficlets is still strong!
Today the dice chose another prompt from yalumesse's 30 day prompt list. (see previous entry for the link, I'm lazy.)
The Prompt: two characters communicating without words and/or having to verbally mislead a third character.
I went with, primarily, the first bit of the prompt, though I do think I have a touch of the second part too...
It's another Marvel Cinema Universe fic, because I couldn't resist using my headcanon for Hawkeye while I still have a chance. He's still pretty much a blank page when it comes to the MCU, so nothing I've written has technically been jossed. There's optional Clint/Natasha in this story too, if you go for that kind of thing.
Words Optional
Words: 785
Spoiler warning: This takes place post-Captain America: The Winter Soldier; and therefore also post-S1 Agents of SHIELD.
( “It’s not like there’s any difference. My company probably made everything SHIELD outfitted you with anyway.” )
The End.
