AO3 Invites?
May. 7th, 2012 07:31 pmOkay...so, AO3 has this nifty feature where you can download the fic directly from the site.
This would save me a lot of time with the demented'verse, since I've been emailing out the PDF on an individual basis at least once a month, and sometimes multiple times per week. As much as I really don't mind emailing out the pdfs, it DOES mean that not only do people have to disclose their email addresses to me, I have to disclose mine to them. Which, you know, on the one hand is kind of cool, since sometimes I have little conversations - while on the other hand...I don't know what the other hand is actually, I mean, I haven't encountered any psychos so far, but that doesn't mean that my luck will hold out?
Maybe I just thought maybe it'd be easier to store my fic on AO3?
Who knows what I'm thinking (I certainly don't).
ANYWAY...apparently you need an invite to get an AO3 account...now, I could put myself in their queue, but I could also just ask my flist:
Does anyone have an AO3 invite that they don't mind sending my way? Thanks
baruchan!
Sorry this post is so disjointed. I've just been writing and the character I was writing was sort of in a weird mental place and, being the empathetic person that I am, I can now not string a coherent sentence together.
P.S: Everyone enjoying those Jared on the beach photos today? I will admit that in a moment of weakness, I ignore my personal rule of not viewing paparazzi pics. The personal moral corruption was worth it.
