Serenity - Firefly
Yes, I know, technically Serenity is a movie, not a series finale - but it's actually both, because Firefly was cancelled after 13 episodes or something ridiculous like that. I would have loved to have seen years of that show, but the fact that they were able to get enough fan-support to conclude the story in movie form was pretty awesome. Yes, some people died that I didn't want to die - but that always happens. I thought the mystery behind River and the Reavers was a really neat idea...and it was a very enjoyable movie.
