June 7th

2006 - Sam and Dean are in Richardson, Texas, investigating the Hell House and pranking each other. They meet two amateur ghost hunters named Ed and Harry, and are not impressed.

2007 - Dean gets a surprise when he goes to visit his old fling, Lisa Braedon, and discovers that she has a kid. Although Dean wants to stay, he knows that he can't - he's hasn't got much time left anyway.

2008 - Dean is being tortured in Hell. Sam is drunk.

2009 - Dean is hunting on his own. Sam is working at a bar in Garber, OK.

Certainly not in 2008 or 2009! We'll have to wait for S6 to see if this year improves things or not - it all depends how quickly Sam escaped the cage.

Have you been able to make any progress on a timeline for Season 5?

Also, in your existing timeline, when would Ben Braedon have been born? Wasn't it his 8th birthday party when he was first introduced? I just have a feeling we are all going to want to pin down his age for next season.

I won't be posting the S5 timeline until after the DVDs come out. I like to do a final rewatch/fact-check using the DVDs before posting anything. That being said, I have a rough timeline sketched out until 99 Problems, so if you want to know anything about S5, just ask.

Right now, I think my timeline says 1998/1999 for Dean's roadtrip when he first meets Lisa - but now that you mention it, I have enough information to narrow that down further. So, it would have been around September of 1998 that Dean had sex with Lisa - for Dean to get THAT concerned that Ben might be his.

We don't have an exact birthdate for Ben, but it's somewhere around late-May or early June, 1999. I'll add it to the timeline as well, I guess, seeing as how he's sort of an important character.
