Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
How can I possibly choose just one?!
I like the Pilot, because it gave us the show.
I like Home, because that's when Jensen hooked me.
I like Something Wicked, because it gave me the Wee!chesters.
I like Dead Man's Blood, because even though he accidentally psychologically screwed them up, John Winchester loves his sons unconditionally.
I like Devil's Trap, because Sam and Dean finally found each other after spending the whole year together.
I like In My Time of Dying, because it was beautiful.
I like all the episodes with cops in them, because I'm a sucker for outsider views of the Winchesters.
I like Simon Said, because I love Andy.
I like Born Under a Bad Sign, because it had me at the edge of my seat and Jared was amazing.
I like All Hell Breaks Loose Part 1, because I love Andy, and Andy giving Dean a vision, and Sam's death KILLED me.
I like Tall Tales, Bad Day at Black Rock, and Changing Channels because they were hilarious.
I like A Very Supernatural Christmas, because of all the love.
I like Mystery Spot - because it was hilarious and then horribly tragic.
I like No Rest For The Wicked, because even though I knew he was coming back, Dean still got me with his goodbye.
I like Lazarus Rising, because it was the first of a pretty frickin' epic S4.
I like When The Levee Breaks, because Jared ripped my heart out.
I like the End...I liked Point of No Return....I liked, I liked, I liked...
The Kripke Finale.
Seriously, just one? I don't think so.

Date: 2010-06-02 07:36 pm (UTC)I think we started to see through the devil-may-care persona in Dead in the Water...but it wasn't until Home that I realized that Dean REALLY needed/missed his father. And that the glimpse we got in Dead in the Water wasn't just a plot device :P
Also, it was the first time we saw Sam have a vision...which added a whole other layer to the show as well.
Such a good show!

Date: 2010-06-02 09:43 pm (UTC)Sadly, "if clothes could talk" is just a catalog of their clothes and which episodes they wore them in. :-P

I like all the episodes with cops in them, because I'm a sucker for outsider views of the Winchesters.
YES. Lovelovelovelovelove.
...shutting up now. :)

Date: 2010-06-04 05:40 am (UTC)I'm glad you share my love for outsider views of the Winchesters! Surprisingly, for how much I love it, I don't write it - besides the first few chapters of my HP/SPN fic anyway. But I do comb the internets for other people writing them. I basically read anything that's a crossover SPN/cop-show, even if I've never watched the cop-show (which is quite often).

Date: 2010-06-06 07:51 am (UTC)I have no real idea why I love outsider views of the Winchesters, but I do, so very, very much. My first "head fanfiction" (you know, scenarios you play out in your head but don't actually write down--I'm not the only one who does this, right? Right?) was pretty about how Sam was at college and everybody loved him but thought he was a little weird, especially when he'd slip up with his knowledge of guns/pagan stuff/Latin/salt/kung fu/whatever. And I adore anything with Henriksen purely on principle.
(And HP/SPN sounds awesome. Just saying. My two favorite stories ever put together? Yes please. :P)

Date: 2010-06-06 08:29 am (UTC)I also love Sam at college stuff!! I have a lot of head fiction about that topic too. I think with the outsider point of view, it's because it's so much fun to "rediscover" the characters. To approach them from the standpoint that these guys are normal - and then explore all the little things that would give away the fact that they aren't normal at all.
Or, in the case of SPN/Cop-shows - it's a way to explore the different interpretation of the bare facts. My favorite Henriksen moment on the show is when he gives Dean that speech about how his dad was "paramilitary" and raised them in "motels and backwoods cabins, and probably touched you in a bad place" - I mean, geez! That's GOLD right there. A lot of my "head fiction" has to do with how on earth Sam would have explained away scars to Jessica, because there's no way he went through 10 years of Hunting/Training before college without getting beat up.
If you want to read my epic HP/SPN fic - it's in my masterlist of fic. I'm currently writing a sequel. People like it, but I do have to warn you that it's LONG...so, you know...I'll understand if you don't feel you have the time.
