Yes, I hear it has a fantastic message. And I'm not saying it's a tragedy meaning like... tragedy/sadness. I mean it's a tragedy in the definition of "everybody dies"... like, I even recognize that it's not even a tragedy in the Shakespeare sense, because Shakespeare's tragedies were all about heroes being their own undoing, and that doesn't apply here.

I just... don't want to see people die? Like, even if they save the day (which we know they do), it still sucks.

Don't get me wrong, I'll see the film EVENTUALLY and I'll probably really like it... but right now, I'm just... blah, you know?

And maybe the case is that I'm "blah" because the world is horrible and I could use hope, and if I saw the film I'd feel better about everything... but that's the whole catch-22 of telling the depressed person to go outside and get more exercise in order to help their depression...it'd be easier to do that if they weren't depressed. :P

But yeah, I'll definitely see it eventually. And I'm glad it's a really good movie with a really great message for our troubled times.
