Thanks so much! I really enjoy keeping track of the timeline for some reason. I've never been able to figure out why - but yeah, I wish someone on the production found as much joy in it as I do. ;)
I'm always of the opinion that if a show makes it past the second season and looks like it might be going on for a bit - production should canvas the fandom for a continuity expert and then hire them on the spot. Of course, I'm horribly biased, given that I live in Vancouver and am in constant need of a better job!
(And yes, I think it's definitely time that SPN decides how it wants to wrap up and starts moving towards that goal. I think part of the problem with long-lived shows is that they're no longer working towards a known end-point, and that leaves them open for bad plots and redundant scenarios as they scramble for ideas. I think the strength of S1-S5, was because Kripke always had a rough 5 year arc in his head.)
