I'm not surprised you're a Steve/Sam shipper! :) I really like them too, but I only ship them as part of an OT3 with Bucky - or, the fic just has to be REALLY well written, so that I don't feel like the relationship between Steve and Bucky is diminished in any capacity (as in, they don't have to bang, but they need to be devoted to one another in some respect.)
Anyway, yeah, it'd had been nice to get more Steve/Sam scenes too.
I agree about Spider-man. I'm indifferent towards Tony. I've actually only ever seen the first Iron Man movie, so I'm obviously...well, indifferent, like I said. :P
I also loved the Rhodey and Tony scene. I love their friendship, even though I've only seen it in passing (or in gifs on tumblr.) So, it was great to see that it remained strong. Really, at the end of the movie, both Steve and Tony's positions mirrored each other - and I liked that.
I also agree that someone needs to get mad at Tony for bringing a child into battle. I mean - I can see why he did it - Peter is powerful (catching that punch from Bucky) and his specialty is the fact that he captures, not kills. So it was a very good strategic move, but YIKES. I DID appreciate that they wrote in how much Tony tried to use him sparingly and keep him safe - technically, it was Peter who disobeyed the "stay back" order and RDJ did a great job of showing how much Tony was freaking out when Peter went down after subduing Antman.
But yeah, Tony was DEFINITELY bending his morals too far there when he "recruited" Peter. Maybe they'll address it in Spider-man... who knows. :P
