Haha, I enjoyed it too, don't get me wrong! But, without a fetish for nuns, it just didn't do ALL the things for me. ;)
Kathleen's guess was that there was a LOT of time to kill in the cage between torture sessions - and that Lucifer must have been teaching Sam archaic languages on their downtime. I kind of like that image, because it's hilarious.
