Yeah, since most of the fic writing has moved to AO3 and the culture there isn't very comment-centered, there's fewer and fewer comments on LJ as a result. It DOES make me miss four years ago sometimes though!
I think Cas lost it a bit too - I think it took him a while to get the filter right, and it messed with him until he did.. I tried to write a fic about it once from his pov, but I couldn't get his voice right - I can only write Cas from the outside.
Keep up the good work and remember: if you write it, they will come. And probably forget to comment.
