The episode WAS great. If you're bored, you should give it a watch - it really is Jody centred, so it's not like you need to watch the rest of S9 to enjoy it or feel engaged.
Also, the vampire!Dean thing is something that drove me SO crazy in season 8, because the conversation kept kind of turning there, to the point that it seemed unnatural to not mention it.
Exactly! I mean, geez... it's kind of a pretty big character point to be briefly a vampire, but hey, what do I know. :P
