Ah, no big deal, I didn't expect you to know. That's why I told you. But in the US military, at least, soldiers are soldiers, sailors are sailors, airmen are airmen, and marines are marines, and you don't call one a different one. (I don't know how many times I've told people I'm not a sailor/airman/marine.)
