Yes, I loved that too! Forgot to mention it in my reaction, but it was great. :) (Even though Jared once again did his 'we are having a funny conversation' tic that drives me nuts... I really have to become immune to that.)
Hmm... I'm not sure if we've seen Dean drink liquor in this season before this episode. You could be right about it being an indicator of stress. Not to mention the fact that he's dealing with witches, who he hates, and it's a moral grey area, which he also hates. So, he wasn't having a very good week.
Unfortunately, I can't confirm/deny completely, and I don't want to go back and watch the better part of 14 episodes either... at least, not until the DVDs come out. ;)
