Did you miss me?
I am back in Vancouver after a wonderfully relaxing summer vacation. It was a lot of fun. I'm thinking of doing a separate post about my trip to Bermuda, either flocked here or not-flocked over on DW...but yeah, just in the thinking stages at this point. Some things never get passed the thinking-stages with me.
Anyway, there's a bunch of stuff I have to do now:
1)Figure out what I'm going to get signed at VanCon.
2)Finish my Rewatch of Sherlock - The Great Game.
3)Hang out with anyone who is in town for VanCon and who wants to hang out with me.
4)Go back to work (Boo! Hiss!)
5)Finish the first draft of my goddamn novel (I've been slowly, slowly working on the epilogue).
So, some of what I have to do you will see - and some you won't, I guess.

Date: 2012-08-18 05:43 pm (UTC)Good luck with getting everything done you want to by this Friday. I can't believe we are on the final countdown to VanCon. Once again, such a surreal feeling, but I am so very excited. And yes would love to hang out, see you or something while I'm up there. See you soon!!

Date: 2012-08-18 05:53 pm (UTC)I got nicely tanned in Bermuda. Burned A LITTLE, but only in one spot that is easily hidden with clothes (but not, apparently, bathing-suits).

Date: 2012-08-18 05:54 pm (UTC)And yes, VanCon yet again! I didn't get as much of a deal on the tickets this year as I did last year - so, no photo-ops this time, but I do have a gold-pass and a better camera - so along with my detailed reports, I might actually have decent pictures this year.
I'm always busy. :P

Date: 2012-08-18 05:59 pm (UTC)My life has been superhectic but I plan to do a reread of your story this coming week and give you some more feedback.
Oh, and don't forget to keep that project about 'When did the Winchesters know things' on your list too :D

Date: 2012-08-18 06:02 pm (UTC)Don't worry, that's always on my list. I was actually working on it fairly steadily for the two months before my vacation - so I'm sure I'll get back into the routine of it. It's actually a fairly involved project (perhaps I am being too comprehensive, but *shrug*)
You could always hold off on reading if you wanted, and then I could send you the ENTIRE thing...that way you could give me feedback on everything including the final chapter and epilogue.

Date: 2012-08-19 04:22 pm (UTC)Not actually going to Vancon, because no time/money :( But if there is going to be some extra-curricular fangirl hangouts, I'd be interested.

Date: 2012-08-19 05:29 pm (UTC)Bermuda was very hot but very beautiful. The only other time I've been it was February, and Bermuda is only sub-tropical, so swimming in the ocean there was like swimming in the ocean in the Canadian summertime. This time, since it was august - I was melting outside the water, but the water itself was refreshing without actually being cold. It was quite amazing.
I may do a flocked post with a few pictures someday soon. :)
