SO MUCH YES TO THIS. That right there---Gwaine's quiet love for Merlin---is why I love Gwaine's character so freaking much. I just...it's a really beautiful thing, and it's just the kind of thing that Merlin really needs. So, uh, yeah, nothing really intelligent to add to that...I'm just glad that you also picked up on that, because I really feel that it's one of, if not the, best things about Gwaine.
