Yeah, it was row B, but it was seat 3 or 8 or something ridiculous like that. So, I'd be right by the door way off to the side. I was way off to the side last year, and didn't particularly like it. You're much better off if your seat is somewhere between 10-30 in a row.
I went on Silver the first year, and that really was alright. I mean, yeah, you had to wait forever to get your autos, but we just spent the time chatting and it was fine. There are always people desperate to get rid of silver tickets just before the Con, so I'm hoping that Silver is my worst case scenario. (Though, my actual worse case scenario is me standing in the lobby of the hotel and visiting with you guys as you walk between the ballroom and the photo-ops. :P )
Sidenote: I see the word "Gen" used so often to refer to Genevieve Padalecki, that my first thought at you saying "You could always just buy Gen" was "I wish!" Hahaha
