Lat week's and this week's episodes felt like they were incomplete, and I don't think I will be able to appreciate them fully until the finale when it all (hopefully) comes together...
It would have been nice if some of these plot twists had been spread out a little more instead of feeling hurriedly shoved into place...but tv is a different animal than a book and with so many writers, it's probably a miracle that we get as much consistancy as we do...
I totally missed the police/returning little boy interaction. One of the Js said something in a recent con about having a problem with a scene where, as written, they left a young hostage behind, and they actually called CA to say Sam and Dean would have rescued the kid, and they demanded it be rewritten. I am assuming this was the kid they were referring to.
