When he mentioned "watching bees" my first thought was also about Sherlock Holmes (and I had to pause the show :D, to collect myself), and then I came here wondering whether you will mention that or not. And you did! How did that happen that watching bees is now so connected to Holmes? That it's the first thing that comes to mind. I doubt bee watching has ever been intended as something that should have any associations at all.
So, the game "Sorry" is a real game? Then it is an even more awesome detail (and I don't care that it was played wrong on the show), that they didn't invent a way for Cas to try to "play sorry", but they had this real thing with which to toy..
