Because I'm the type of person that buys myself books as gifts instead of more practical things like clothes.
And this sentence right there just made my day. I do the same thing. And sometimes even more impractical things like theatre tickets.. At least books make a nice "shelf decor" when they become more than just a few hundreds :DÂ
